Prevailing Wage Requirements
The following prevailing wage paperwork will be provided to special inspector Douglas Metzger through email before the start of the first work date.
- I will need the first date of project advertisement which refers to the prevailing wage determination applicable. This will be the minimum prevailing wage rate which will apply to the project.
- Also needed is the Prevailing Wage Contract (PWC100) number which is the project number assigned by the Department of Industrial Relations so the Certified Payroll Report (CPR) can be filed through online eCPR.
- Please provide a project start and end date in your subcontract. As a sole proprietor inspector I will know when to file the first CPR and continue with paperwork through the final submittal.
- The last certified payroll report should always indicate FINAL somewhere on the page; usually next to the work ending date.
- Please also include the funding source as I will need to know for paperwork purposes whether it is California PW, Davis-Bacon PW, mixed (CA + DB). Different CPR forms required, statements of compliance, etc. depending on the funding.
- In addition, include any other applicable requirements for local agency: (HUD, HOME, Section 3 hiring goals, etc.) This can trigger additional paperwork needed depending on City/County/Agency laws.
