I was a claimant who suffered the loss of a burnt home due to the Lilac fire. The remaining concrete slab and footing were compromised by the sustained high heat exposure. The County of San Diego would not accept the remaining concrete which they claimed was not at a loss. They suggested that I build over the remaining concrete footing and slab. Douglas greatly helped me by explaining in writing to the County how the structural integrity was lost in the remaining concrete. This allowed me to remove the damaged concrete and start over with a new footing and slab. Thank you for your proof testing, kind words and detailed report.
